S.H.E. offers counselling and support to women who are in or from an abusive intimate relationship, whether it is past or current.  S.H.E. is located in Hobart Tasmania.

About S.H.E.

S.H.E. is a free and confidential counselling and support service for any woman affected by abuse in an intimate relationship.  S.H.E stands for Support Help and Empowerment.

Please note that S.H.E. is a non-crisis service.

We provide face-to-face and telephone counselling during business hours on week days.

We facilitate support groups and occasional lunchtime meetings to assist those affected by violence and abuse within intimate relationships.

Abuse in relationships may include different types of behaviour such as physical, emotional, sexual, social, financial and/or spiritual.

We provide support and referral to other appropriate agencies and services.  We may be your first contact when seeking assistance.
